I'm a full-time writer, living near Oxford,
where the Kate Ivory novels are set. Occasionally I write more
general, psychological fiction, too.
When I can escape from my computer I give talks in libraries
and colleges - or to any group with an interest in my writing.
For a couple of years I taught the craft of novel-writing for
the WEA, and I've run creative writing workshops in schools,
too.
You may catch sight of me from time to time in a country pub
- eating good food, drinking a glass of sauvignon blanc and
enjoying the company of a crowd of friends.
