Oxford Proof
This is the tenth in the Kate Ivory series.
Kate Ivory is going up-market - as least as far as her writing
is concerned. Her agent has negotiated a contract with
a new publisher, one who appreciates how good a writer she
could be if given encouragement.
But (since were dealing with Kate Ivory, there has to
be a but) Kates new editor finds his reputation disappearing
along with his credit rating when he is targeted by identity
thieves. And Kates mother, the irrepressible Roz, has
found herself a job that involves making far too many sticky
pastries, while the man in her life is a rat.
